During the summer months especially, it is often easy to let your lawn get into a bit of a mess. If you have children then they may have equipment on the lawn such as trampolines and slides which can very quickly kill off any grass. If we have long periods of dry weather then unless you remember to water the grass, you will quickly find that you are left with bare patches.
Ideally to keep your lawn in tip-top condition there are a certain number of things that you need to do on a regular basis. The first thing to bear in mind with regards to play equipment is to keep it off the grass as much as possible. You may want to move it on to a patio area of bark area even if only when it’s not in use. This will give your lawn time to recover.
Feeding the lawn with lawn feed solutions will also help to keep your grass looking fuller and greener, you could also put down grass seed, but if the lawn is being trodden on, then it may not take. Also, birds tend to take a liking to grass seed so unless protected it may be eaten before its had time to set in.
