One spacious garden can encompass a broad range of surfaces, but bark mulch may well be one of the most used products for children’s play areas. It’s relatively cheap to purchase and it basically means a child will have a cushioned fall if they slip in or tumble in their area. Pine bark mulch can be really light but it can spread very easily so having a border is ideal.
Without some kind of border you may find mulch spreading over different areas of your lawn, which can look rather messy. It’s the type of product that doesn’t require a great deal of maintenance, although some firm weeds will need to be removed from time to time.
Keeping mulch away from soil can ensures it stays relatively clean, even in the wet and you won’t constantly have t brush your children every time they’ve been out in the back garden playing.
